our story
Rottman Drilling Co was founded in California in 1928. The California Corporation was closed in 2018 due to California emissions Standards not required in the other 49 states. It is now incorporated in Nevada as a "C" Corp. All assets were either sold or moved to Nevada and Texas.
Our operation in California and Nevada entailed drilling Direct or Reverse circulation wells ranging from 2,500 ft to shallow domestic wells. Bore holes ranged from 42inch to 6 5/8 inch. Most of of our agricultural wells were constructed with 26 inch bore holes with 16 inch casing to an average depth of 1,600ft.
For Direct and Rotary drilling, we utilized Smith International and Security hole openers - both with weld on or pin on cutters (GTA). We probably have the largest supply of these bits and cutters in stock for sale at well below wholesale in the United States. These hole openers are in excellent condition and range from 42 inch to 10 inch. Many have new or rebuilt factory cutters in stock sized from 12 1/2 inch to 42 inch.
